what a memory-packed weekend.

at this exact moment last year, EB and i were sitting in VB's dad's officy room out on long island, with a bottle of everclear, being honest with each other. we were each a stranger the other had just met, and who would have thought our paths would cross again? who would have thought that we would fall in love?

i hate dates like this, because i remember them. and then remembering makes you reflect on how different things are and how they got so different.

incidentally, not only is it a year since i met EB, but it's also 3 months since DE and i officially began dating. hurray for june 18th.

and now it's the 19th, and 2 years ago today was my high school prom. that wasn't very fun.

ah, anyway.
this evening i hung out with MM, KW, a different DG, someone i hadn't seen since high school, and another one of DG's friends. it was fun, we went to dinner at a restaurant (that i went to the second time i hung out with EB, and he threw cheese at my face) and we walked through a park (that EB and i used to hang out in and once we just sat on the grass for a while).... it was kind of a double whammy to be roaming the places that remind me of EB on the anniversary of the day we met.
it was really fun though. afterward we went and played pool at this cool lounge place. my team won by default, and then lost by default because of me. wheee. i'm dead awful at pool.

not much else to say.

oh.
that's a lie.
yesterday was father's day, of course. (and, while we're at it, it was also the 17th, a date finally healing from the scar of me+KW's relationship.)
i spent all day freaking out about whether or not to call my dad and then finally sent him a diplomatically composed, friendly sounding text that implied "happy father's day" but didn't actually say it. because saying it felt like it would be lying.
sad.
i hope it isn't like this every year.
he called me twice after i texted him.
i ignored the calls.
it was late, right? i could have been sleeping. (i wasn't, of course. i was freaking out going WHAT DO I DO WHY IS HE CALLING ME.)

blah.
oh
i've also spent a few days researching bras and measurements and correct fitting and all that jazz. because i seem to actually be a 30DD or a 32D, somewhere in that area.
and now i see bad fit everywhere. i just want to give every female i know a bra makeover. like i got some friends that think they're D cups. i would be willing to bet that they are so not. they're probably bigger than that.
for all you ladies out there reading this - don't let anyone add 4 to your underbust measurement to get your band size! don't do it! or any numbers for that matter! it will lead you in the completely wrong direction! towards too-loose bands and too-small cups! make your girls happy, c'mon.

okay that was my preachy moment.

now i'm out of things to say.
